Century Group
Provides Railroad Spill Collection Pans to Renewable Energy Holding Facility
Century Group Inc. has played a role in the biofuels industry by being the predominant supplier of railroad spill containment systems to the new facilities being constructed. Recently Century Group supplied its railroad spill collection pans for the new Renewable Energy Holding facility in Aurora, Nebraska. The Century HDPE Enviropans were installed by Railworks in the facility's new railroad tank car loading/unloading racks. The HDPE spill collection pans were installed to provide secondary containment under the railroad tank cars to catch any accidental spills in the railroad tank car loading rack.
The Century railroad spill collection pans provide a fast and efficient secondary containment system under railroad tank cars in loading racks meeting EPA's SPCC (Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasures) plan as mandated in 40 CFR 112.7(h)(l).
Century Group's Rob Greenside commented, "We are pleased to be the supplier for the railroad spill collection pans for the Renewable Energy Holding facility. Our HDPE Enviropans have been the spill collection pan system of choice for the fuel ethanol and biodiesel facilities across North America.
