Century Group Provides Precast Concrete Pipe Weights

Century Group Inc. has provided precast concrete pipe weights to a commercial dredging contractor to be used to stabilize high-density polyethylene dredge spoil discharge pipes while dredging navigational waterways.

The two piece concrete weights were designed to fit the contour of the pipe with galvanized fasteners used to hold the weights in place.

The precast pipe weights are currently being used on dredging operations along the Calcasieu
