Century Group HDPE Installation for EJ&E Railroad in Joliet, Illinois
The EJ&E Railway upgraded and replaced their railroad spill containment pans with the latest HDPE Enviropan® design from Century Group Inc. EJ&E's locomotive fueling facility in Joliet, Illinois underwent major rehabilitation and installation of Century's HDPE spill pans. Mike Bachman of EJ&E commented on how the HDPE sill pans featuring the textured non-skid surface will complete their specific containment requirements while meeting EPA's SPCC compliance regulations. Safety grating was also utilized throughout the entire 150 track foot of the railroad spill collection pans as an extra precautionary measure to prevent any contaminants in the railroad spill pans from being picked up by any foot traffic.
