Century Group Inc. has supplied railroad spill containment pans for a Class I railroad’s fueling facility in Willmar, Minnesota. Century Group Inc. worked with engineers and consultants in developing the metal spill containment pan system which featured cross drains with vertical 8” discharge outlets and a sealed opening where the pans and cross drains attach. Chris Gaudet, Director of Research & Development - Century Group Inc., reported "We worked closely with the engineers and the contractor in getting steel drip pans manufactured and delivered on a very tight timeline. The unique design of the spill containment pan width and length was necessary to work around the existing locomotive fueling rack infrastructure. The cross drains on this project called for built-in sand traps to catch sand and other solids.” Century Group Inc. has delivered spill containment pans to Class I railroads for many years. Century’s custom galvanized metal cross drains for railcar spill containment pans

The Century Group Inc. Railroad Products Division manufactured custom curve panels for this reverse curve at a railroad Intermodal marshalling yard. The project called for Century’s concrete grade crossing panels custom cast to fit both spiral and reverse curves. The concrete grade crossing panels designed to fit a reverse curve, required the panels to be manufactured with a taper to allow for proper fit in the track. Century Group’s Jerry McCombs stated, "This project required custom panels and tie spacing throughout the project to insure proper fit and stability. We are pleased with the quality crossing panels manufactured by the railroad division for such a unique railroad grade crossing project. A railroad grade crossing project of this magnitude required the great work of Century Group’s railroad division’s technical team, fabrication division, and grade crossing manufacturing group.”Century Custom Concrete Grade Crossing Panels in a Reverse Curve
